This location in Lake D’Arbonne State Area, which spans 655 gorgeous acres, serves as the ideal launching pad for discovering everything that the campground has to offer. The park’s focal point, Lake D’Arbonne, is a paradise for outdoorsy types who enjoy boating, fishing, water skiing, and sunbathing. There are trails that may be taken to explore the piney forests or the winding slopes of this lovely place. The area also has a tennis complex, tourist center, and swimming pool.

It has two canvas tents on wooden deck platforms, each with a queen-sized foam mattress, side tables, and a gas tent heater. Additionally, there are two picnic tables, two fire pits with grills, two solar showers, and two portable camp toilets. The park’s restrooms are accessible to campers as well. Two more pop-up tents are available for additional people, however, you will need to supply your own air mattresses and sleeping mats for these tents.

Toledo Bend Reservoir may be seen from the gorgeous lake shoreline known as Hippy Point. This campground is located on a tiny peninsula that features fantastic lake beaches, hiking, fishing, and camping, of course! The spot requires a climb, however, the distance from the parking area adjacent to the main beach is just around 0.25 miles. The distance from the car park to the campground is around 0.4 miles, and there are amenities there such as a comfort station, a restroom, and showers. Visitors can either drive there or, if you’re up for it, trek there. For families, couples, or groups of friends looking to reconnect with nature, the campsite is the ideal getaway location.

The traditional-looking Teepee is a one-room home that is designed like the teepees used by Native Americans in earlier times. It is a one-room cottage with a bathroom, a sink for washing dishes, and a bedroom. The interior fits the concept and is fitting. A brief distance away, there are restrooms with showers.
